Resident Evil Village plot takes off from where Resident Evil 7: Biohazard ended. The protagonist Ethan Winters lives with his wife Mia and daughter Rosemary. The veteran Chris Redfield appears in his Winters’ home, and kills Mia, and kidnaps his daughter Rosemary. Winters wakes up and finds himself in the gothic European village, where he is challenged to fight the horrifying creatures.

In order to survive and rescue his daughter, he has to fight all the monsters. Redfield is the most popular protagonist of the series, and his entry came as a huge surprise. Fans will have to wait till they play the Resident Evil Village to see if Redfield is the real villain or not in the latest chapter.

The monsters of the village are in full control of Lady Alcina Dumitrescu. She is a towering vampire and has three daughters — Bela, Cassandra, and Daniela. They all live in a castle. The castle is divided into separate regions and various monsters ranging from werewolves to mermen reside there.
