At CC Discovery we publish money content that people use to make real decisions, so accuracy and clarity come first. This page explains how our content is made.
How we research
We research every topic using primary and reputable sources — official tax and government information, lender and institution documentation, and established financial references. Where we use an example, we show the actual numbers so you can follow the logic yourself.
How our tools are built
Every calculator is built and tested in-house using standard, published financial formulas (for example, the standard amortization formula for loan payments). We test each tool against known results before it goes live.
Human editing
Our content is written and reviewed by people. Drafts are checked for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness before publishing. We write in plain English and avoid hype.
Corrections
We make mistakes sometimes, and when we do, we fix them. If you spot an error, email us at [email protected] and we’ll review and correct it promptly.
Independence
Our guidance is editorially independent. We may earn revenue from advertising or affiliate links, but that never changes the figures a calculator produces or the substance of our advice. We label advertising clearly.
Not personalized advice
Everything we publish is general educational information. It is not a substitute for advice tailored to your situation by a licensed professional.
