Tyler Blevins real name is Richard Tyler Blevins. He was born on June 5, 1991, in Detroit, Michigan. He spent his childhood in Grayslake, Illinois. He grew up with his mother, father, and older brothers. His parents belong of Welsh descent. His father introduced Ninja to video games when he was quite young. He attended Grayslake Central High School and worked at Noodles & Company.

Blevins started to play video games professionally, with the game “Halo 3.” He has played with Team Liquid, Cloud9, and Renegades. He started playing online with “H1Z1” and “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” (“PUBG”). Ninja became popular with the game Fortnite Battle Royale.

Ninja played “Fortnite” game with Drake, Travis Scott, and Juju Smith. He set a record for the largest concurrent audience. Ninja continued to play Epic Games and he partnered up with the musician Marshmello. Blevins broke his s Twitch record and earned 667,000 viewers.

Tyler played with Red Bull Esports and started streaming on Mixer; after Mixer. He started to stream online on the YouTube channel. In early 2020, he earned $500,000 per month from playing his game “Fortnite” streams.
