Plot:

The plot revolves around Sherlock Holmes (played by Benedict Cumberbatch), a genius consulting detective along with his flat-mate and Army Doctor, John Watson (played by Martin Freeman). John has just returned from his military service in Afghanistan and lives in a Bakerstreet flat with Mrs. Hudson as their landlady.

Although an anti-social person, Sherlock has been admired by many and has helped people from commoners to the government, successfully. John writes about all their experiences in a blog, which had made Sherlock a reluctant celebrity. Many people had been suspicious of Sherlock first, but they had no choice but to succumb to his intellect and extraordinary skills when it comes to being a detective.

The entire series has various cases of crimes that Sherlock solves with his assistants and friends like Molly Hooper, a pathologist, and of course, John. Sherlock’s conflict with his family has also been a highlight of the show where his sister, Eurus, played one of the biggest anticipated villains in the last season.

All that being said, it is safe to say that nothing beats the suspense and thrill when it comes to Sherlock being in a row with his arch-nemesis, Jim Moriarty (played by Andrew Scott). It was subtly hinted about Sherlock having feelings for Moriarty (and having it reciprocated), but the cast or crew has confirmed no such thing. It is one of the best shows to ever been rated by the audience and the story has a lot of humor, thrill, suspense, and of course, crime scenes. There have been a total of four seasons of this TV show, excluding a special season that was released before the fourth season.
