The Last Of Us Release Delayed
The last of us TV series might not be releasing this year. HBO & HBO Max programming head Casey Bloys has confirmed that the series will not be coming to HBO this year. The team is shooting right now in Canada” and hasn’t announced an air date yet. According to the reports, it is confirmed that the release date will not be in 2022.
Casey Bloys shared with the fans:
“I have seen some early episodes, and I’m very excited. Craig [Mazin] did ‘Chernobyl’ for us, he is a fantastic writer and director. What I’ve seen looks amazing so I’m excited for it but it will not be in 22.” Just don’t compare it to that other HBO series. “There is no next Game of Thrones,” Bloys explained. “I’ve been here long enough that I’ve been through, what’s the next ‘Sopranos,’ what’s next ‘Game of Thrones’, now what’s next ‘Succession’. There is no next ‘Game of Thrones’.”

The Last of Us Plot
The HBO series is based on the critically acclaimed game developed by Naughty Dog for the PlayStation platforms. The story of the series takes place twenty years after modern civilization is destroyed. The story is about Joel (Pascal), who is a hardened survivor. He is hired to smuggle Ellie (Ramsey), who is a 14-year-old girl.
She is smuggled out of an oppressive quarantine zone. This starts as a small job but turns into a brutal, heartbreaking journey. Both traverse across the U.S. and rely on each other for survival.
Ramsey’s Ellie is a 14-year-old who hasn’t been out of a ravaged planet. She is struggling to balance her instinct for anger and defiance. She has a strong need for connection and belonging. Pierce is a rebel and is in a quarantine zone.
Bartlett is cast as Frank in the series. Offerman will play the character of Bill. The two post-pandemic survivalists live alone in their own town. Torv’s Tess is a hardened survivor who is living in a post-pandemic world. He works with Joel. He smuggles weapons in & out of Boston and is along with Joel on the mission to smuggle Ellie.
