WHAT IS THE PLOT OF PEACEMAKER?
Peacemaker follows the character from James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Gunn has written all the series’ episodes. He has also directed a number of episodes as well. Gunn revealed in a press conference that he will be doing a series related to this character soon.
Cena’s Christopher Smith / Peacemaker is a part of The Suicide Squad in the series. He is a self-righteous psychopath and wishes to achieve “peace” by all means necessary. Peacemaker will be digging deeper into the character. The series will reveal the ruthless killer.
Cena’s Peacemaker believes in peace. The HBO Max series will be exploring the character’s origin story. He will be joining the ranks of the Suicide Squad. The titular character will come across paths with Amanda Waller. The show will revolve around the semi-secret government agency A.R.G.U.S. Peacemaker and John will assist in the escape but the twist will certainly add to the intrigue and mystery.
WHO IS PEACEMAKER IN THE COMICS?
Peacemaker consists of three different versions of Peacemaker in the comics. Cena plays Christopher Smith, who is the first iteration of the character. Christopher is passionate about bringing peace to the world. He does use aggressive force to do so. He has found the Pax Institute and is ready to take on the dictators and other real-world villains. He is so committed to fighting evil because his father was a Nazi. Peacemaker wears a flight pack and an armored helmet.
WHEN IS THE PEACEMAKER RELEASING ON HBO MAX?
Peacemaker will be arriving on HBO Max on January 13, 2022.

HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN PEACEMAKER?
Peacemaker will have eight episodes. HBO Max will be taking the page out of Amazon’s book. The first three episodes of the show will release on January 13. The five episodes will air after that every week.
WHO IS IN THE CAST OF PEACEMAKER?
Cena will reprise his role as Christopher Smith. Steve Agee will join the series and will return to play John Economos. Jennifer Holland will take on the role of NSA agent Emilie Harcourt. They will be joined by many new cast members. Danielle Brooks will be playing Leota Adebayo.
Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) will be playing the Peacemaker’s father, Auggie Smith. Freddie Stroma will take on the role of Adrian Chase/Vigilante to life. He will be playing a crimefighter who can easily heal from injuries. Chukwudi Iwuji will also be a part of the main cast as Clemson Murn.
