What is 5G? How fast it is? And when is it coming out? Every tech freak is wondering about 5G these days. The talk about 5g has been circulating for years and people are welcoming this new trend. But in recent time the super-fast technology of 5G has become real and has become something that people can use to benefit their daily life. Right now a very few amounts of people in specific regions have access to 5G. For most people, 5G is still a mystery and is not very common. More carriers and device makers are moving a step forward and introducing 5G for the users. The 5G internet can provide a blazing internet speed to your smartphone and in your home.

5G is a great evolution that lets its users browse music, web, social media and apps on your mobile device. 5G technology is better than 4G LTE because it is faster and more efficient. 5G promises fast wireless communication between the devices and I can handle loads of traffic at the same time. 5G also helps to make your connections at home a lot faster. 5G is thundering fast and it can replace cables for transferring the data. It can’t totally replace cables but it can definitely replace them for a few applications. It is also very beneficial for self-driving car systems and can help in experimental innovations.

How fast is 5G and how much it will cost?

Home internet services promise to deliver fast 5G services. Verizon 5G home internets services which were introduced in October 2018 deliver a fast and high-quality 5G service. The Verizon Company provides 300 megabits-per-second and charges $50 per month. AT&T Company has also introduced a 5G internet connection in 12 cities. They charge $75 a month and provide a 15GB data plan.

How does it work?

For mobile devices, 5 G services will be provided through antennas installed throughout the city. It is similar to the way 4G LTE is provided by the companies. If you are interested in getting a home internet an antenna will be installed outside the window. It is connected to the router of Wi-Fi connection to your window and that is how it works.

When can you expect 5G services to reach your region?

5G services have hit the market but you won’t be able to use it until you have a wireless carrier that provides 5G and the smartphone that is compatible with 5G services. AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint have introduced 5G in the world but it depends on where you live. T-mobile has launched devices that are compatible with 5G and they have launched their devices worldwide. There are a handful of mobile companies that have introduced devices that are 5G compatible.

The Dangers of 5G

There is no evidence that shows that 5G is harmful to a human’s health. Why people are concerned about the health risks caused by 5G is weird because there is no such thing. For years people have had misconceptions that radio waves cause cancer but after various studies and researched it has been revealed that it is completely false. The studies that have been conducted until show no signs of harmful effects caused by 5G. With the passage of time when 5G becomes more common, we probably will get to know more about 5G and then we might get to find out about any harmful effects it has. Most probably 5G would not cause any damage because the technology has caused no harm till now.
