WHAT IS HEMP?

Hemp (Cannabis Sativa L.) is a variety of plant from the cannabaceae family.

More commonly known as cannabis, marijuana or weed, this plant is widely used in the textile industry as well as by pharmaceutical companies thanks to its CBD.

Being one of the most popular plant varieties in the world, due to the psychotropic effects of one of its molecules, the consumption of recreational hemp is still forbidden in many countries today.

USE OF HEMP FIBERS IN HISTORY

Hemp is full of secrets that I will reveal to you, you will be amazed to see how much this plant has allowed the advancement of different industries:

The paper industry or the rope industry: hemp fibers have been used for many years to make cigarette paper, bible and other banknotes.

These fibers were also used to make natural ropes that were then used on ships.

Lime and hemp insulation: since the Neolithic period, lime was mixed with hemp to make solid and insulating breeze blocks.

THE DIFFERENT USES OF HEMP SEEDS: CBD oil and flour

Cannabis oil is obtained from the pressing of the seeds also called “hemp seed”.

The oil is now known to be a natural painkiller. It has many repairing virtues. In addition to that, its taste of hazelnut is particularly pleasant!

The seeds once crushed were used as flour.

CONSUME HEMP OILS AND FLOWERS?

Hemp can be consumed in many forms, in our store we sell mainly cannabis flowers and oils.

The flowers are consumed by infusion or vaporization (we advise against smoking). Hemp oil is consumed by simply putting a few drops under the tongue.

It is advisable to apply a fatty substance in the infusion to optimize the effects of cannabidiol, and for the oil the ideal is to pour the drops on a sugar before letting it melt under the tongue.
