Pain and Glory is one of the best films released in 2019. The film is in the Spanish language, and it was directed by Pedro Almodóvar. The movie was released on 13 March 2019 (Spain). As well as the movie bagged home the Cannes Best Actor Award.

The movie pain and Glory tells a series of reencounters experienced by the main character Salvador Mallo, a film director in physical decline. Some of these reencounters are fresh and happening in real-time.

Also, there is some reencounter that is set in the flashback and talks about his childhood in the 60s when he has emigrated with his parents to a village in Valencia in search of prosperity. Also, the flashbacks talk about his first desire, his first adult love in Madrid of the 80s, the pain of the breakup of his love which was pretty intense.
