Thirty-one NFL training camps have opened this week. The Las Vegas Raiders got an early start last week, and there has been no shortage of compelling storylines across the league. The Chicago Bears and New York Giants are performing well and have made their place in the 10 teams that have great head coaches for the 2022 season. Here are some predictions about the NFL teams and their upcoming matches.
Buffalo Bills
Rookie running back James Cook is the star of Bills camp. While running back Devin Singletary has been trending towards playing a lead role in the offense, Cook has a good set of skills and has made a big impact on offense in 2022. Zack Moss, a third-round pick from the 2020 draft, is the player to watch out for during camp he must prove his worth.
Miami Dolphins
Austin Jackson will be closing training as the cap starter. Many fans felt like the team must move on. The new coaching staff has untapped potential. The third-year pro will battle it out this year. The team includes powerful players including Larnel Coleman, Liam Eichenberg, and Michael Deiter.
New England Patriots
Rookie cornerback Jack Jones is the standout performer. His ball skills have shown up with multiple interceptions. By the end of camp, there are no players that have interceptions better than Jones.
New York Jets
Receiver Denzel Mims has had an encouraging offseason. He doesn’t play special teams, Mims but he is a part of the receiver rotation. The team wouldn’t get much and the Patriots got a 2024 seventh-round pick. The Jets will be taking up the challenge this summer, and the hope is to raise his value.
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens will get out of training camp healthy. There was a 19-day stretch as the team had five players with season-ending injuries. It wouldn’t be surprising if quarterback Lamar Jackson and some other sit-out preseason games. The Ravens can be a Super Bowl contender if the players avoid injuries.
Cincinnati Bengals
The undrafted free agent was one of the top risers during offseason workouts. He earned some reps in the first-team offense. This is a welcomed development for the limited production outside the starting trio of Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd.
Cleveland Browns
Johnson is coming off along with his injured teammates Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. Johnson signed a one-year extension with the team. The second-year playmaker Demetric Felton will also be returning to the team.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Kenny Pickett will be the Steelers’ No. 3 quarterback. Pickett has been on the top in the minicamp and OTAs. The Steelers aren’t rushing Pickett’s development as they out him up in a position to take over. Rudolph has performed in a steady form in the offseason training.
Houston Texans
Pitre’s versatility will give him the ability to roam in the box. He will play in the middle safety and the fans can expect to see plenty of reports of the No. 37 overall pick into the season.
Indianapolis Colts
Third-round pick Bernhard Raimann will emerge as the starter at left tackle. Raimann has the best combination and is one of the best among the candidates. Matt Pryor, Dennis Kelly, and Jason Spriggs will also be joining the team.
Jacksonville Jaguars
Foyesade Oluokun, Travon Walker, Devin Lloyd, and Chad Muma will be a part of the team. Mike Caldwell’s defense and Chaisson are the surprise successes in camp. There’s even less depth after Jordan Smith went down with a knee injury.
New Orleans Saints
The Jameis Winston-Chris Olave duo has generated a lot of buzzes. Michael Thomas will still be the Saints’ No. 1 when he is healthy. Olave has the type of speed ability to catch some of those home run balls. Olave has drafted with the 11th pick and will have the same target volume as other rookies.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs will sign an outside linebacker before they start off a regular season. The Bucs have Pro Bowler Shaq Barrett. The star player Joe Tryon-Shoyinka will be taking over Jason Pierre-Paul, who has remained unsigned. The list of quarterbacks will be facing each other this season.
Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray has a leadership mentality and will out up with the Cardinals on his shoulders. Some of coach Kliff Kingsbury’s final words were about his concern that Murray might not come to the camp on Day 1 because of the contract squabble. With a new deal in place, he might show up as the quarterback.
Los Angeles Rams
Tutu Atwell is the No. 3 receiver. Both quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Cooper Kupp have shown a lot of improvement during the spring. Atwell, the Rams’ second-round pick has played 10 offensive snaps in the last season.
San Francisco 49ers
Rookie defensive end Drake Jackson will be winning the starting defensive end role which will be opposite Nick Bosa. Jackson is the second-round pick this spring and has impressed their teammates and coaches alike. Jackson has the size and skill and will be playing a bigger-than-expected role.
Seattle Seahawks
Coby Bryant will be a Week 1 starter. He will be Seattle’s rookie corner and has more than a famous name. Those traits have made him more NFL-ready than most rookie corners Tre Flowers won a starting job as a rookie in 2018. For that matter, fifth-round rookie Tariq Woolen could play an important part in the competition along with Tre Brown and Artie Burns.
