The Star Wars TV series Andor is one of the most anticipated series at the moment. It gets inspiration from the character of Cassian Andor from the popular movie Rogue One. Diego Luna to Reprise His Character as Cassian Andor
Diego Luna will reprise his role as Cassian Andor. He has talked about it in a recent interview about the plot of the show. Andor is about ‘’the journey of a migrant.” Everyone is already aware that this series will be a prequel to Rogue One. Not only Andor but others also perish in the movie itself. Here is what Diego has to say:
“That feeling of having to move is behind this story, very profoundly and very strong. That shapes you as a person. It defines you in many ways, and what you are willing to do,” Luna reveals.
If we talk about the movie space all things are not very promising. Lucasfilm is looking to slow down the pace of Star Wars Movies too. The new Star Wars Movie that features Rian Johnson is also on hold. However the movie with Taika Waititi’s will be coming out before that. It is followed by Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron film who is the director of Wonder woman.

Tony Gilroy Returns To Write The Series
Tony Gilroy will be writing Andor according to a new report. He reveals that the Andor season 1 will be all about learning more about Cassian. The major part is that the revelation of what made him a person who will sacrifice himself for the greater good. He doesn’t believe in getting any recognition for it either. Here is what Tony has to say about the story:
“It’s about him being really revolution-averse, and cynical, and lost, and kind of a mess.
Andor will being at the Cassian’s home that is destroyed. It will go on with his journey to find a new home.
“His adopted home will become the base of our whole first season, and we watch that place become radicalized,” Gilroy reveals. “Then we see another planet that’s completely taken apart in a colonial kind of way. The Empire is expanding rapidly. They’re wiping out anybody who’s in their way.”
Andor is the latest live-action Star Wars Series. It will release on Disney+ where we have already seen The Mandalorian. It proved to be a big success among all the viewers. Due to which many new seasons are coming up too. The best part is that Spider-Man director Jon Watts will be making this Star Wars TV show. It takes all the inspiration from 1980’s coming of age story.
