Review: 21 Bridges (2019), Cast & film summary and where to watch

21 Bridges is one of the top films that is going to release in 2019. The movie falls under the genre of drama and mystery. The movie was directed by Brian Kirk, and it has a runtime of 99 minutes. The movie is scheduled to release on 22 November 2019 in the USA.  The movie so far seems to be a promising one. And there is quite a lot of buzz that this movie-making online. As well as the movie is starting with popular actors like  Chadwick Boseman, J. K. Simmons and so on. However, to get you a better idea, let me talk about the cast

21 Bridges Cast

The movie is starting with Chadwick Boseman. The man whom we have seen in Marvels’s Black Panther movie. And he is going to play Andre Davis in ‘21 Bridges’. As well as the movie features other popular actors too. Like we are going to see Sienna Miller as an NYPD detective, Taylor Kitsch as John Carter and Stephan James as Race in the movie.

AS well as there also other actors that includes Toby Hemingway (‘The Covenant’), J. K. Simmons (‘Whiplash), Morocco Omari (‘Empire’), Keith David (‘Crash’), Jamie Neumann (‘The Deuce’), Shayna Ryan (‘Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen’), Katie McClellan (‘The Ultimate Legacy’), Gary Carr (‘Downton Abbey’), and Alexander Siddig (‘Gotham’).

21 Bridges Summary

In 21 Bridges we are going to see Boseman in the role of Andre Davis, an NYPD detective who has a dark past and have received a second chance at redemption when eight of his cop friends were gunned down during a robbery

When the police start to investigate the case and starts a manhunt in the city, Andres is put on a test with his skills and dedication to the force under close scrutiny.

Also, as the night unfolds, lines become blurred on who he is pursuing. When the search finally finishes, police take extreme measures to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan as the authorities close all 21 Bridges to prevent any entry or exit from the iconic island.

Release Date

In the United States and Canada, the movie is scheduled to be released on November 22, 2019. However, the movie was previously scheduled to be released on July 12 and September 27, 2019. But that obviously did not happen.

As well as the movie is going to be released on different dates around the globe. And in some countries, the movie was launched back in September only. The moviemakers are not going for worldwide release. Instead, they are releasing the movie from different countries at different time.

Where to watch21 Bridges?

As mentioned earlier, the movie is not released yet. So you can go to your nearest movie theater to watch the movie when it gets released. In case if you are not from the United States or Canada, then you can go to IMDB and check the release date in your country.

Apart from that, as of now, there is no information when the movie is going to be available on popular streaming platforms like Netflix or YouTube Video. But we can definitely assume that, once the movie makers release the movie around the globe it will be made available online.
