The Teams of Pakistan Super League – 2020:

Before talking about the Pakistan Super League schedule, let’s talk about the teams participating in the League.

The teams of Pakistan Super League are created with practically no limits. Players from all over the world are offered and selected to be a part of a team. The owner of each team selects the players, who they assume will be able to play the best from their side. The players who have visited Pakistan in the past to play, have always had something positively empowering to say about it. This has led to overall improved international relations with the world.

First, there were supposed to be only five teams on the league. They were Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators. All of these teams were created in the year 2015. The first two tournaments were held with only these five teams. But, in the year 2017, an investor came in, and the team Multan Sultans was created.

Since 2017, the league has had six teams in total. With the increased number of teams, more players had to be invited to play in the tournament. This led to increased exposure of the tournament, as well as more players coming to Pakistan to play from the different teams. There is also no bias while playing from these teams. The international players have always participated with grace and utmost fair play.
