Mainz (dpa) – At the time of data collection of foreign offenders there are in the view of the land criminal police office (LKA) of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany vulnerabilities.
“There are anomalies in the System, in particular, due to different procedures in public registers, also in the Central register of Foreigners and in the information systems of the police,” said LCA President John Kunz of the German press Agency. “In a large number of personnel are also known, some of which are used deliberately as a decoy, person, alien, in other cases, but due to blurring in the survey.”
These abnormalities create, according to the LKA-President’s problems in the search. “This can lead to multiple identities of a Person, the high expenses are recognized and will have to be merged,” said Kunz. “This is a task of great importance for the next few months.” He already sees approaches to the solution: “With the automatic detection of counterfeit Documents, the use of biometric data and the use of Fast ID devices for the collection of fingers, we pull the trigger on the right path, we want to continue to expand.”
