Jay Lethal To Return For The Final Battle At ROH

Jay Lethal is a popular AEW star is making a return to ROH this Saturday’s Final Battle” End of an Era’’ pay per view. During this time ROH World Champion Bandido was taken out from the Final Battle on Thursday. He has got a positive COVID-19 test that have made things worse. Earlier he was scheduled to have a faceoff against Jonathan Gresham at the main event.

In a recent update ROH has revealed that Jay will make a back to have an intense battle against Johnathan. They also announced that Jay VS Jonathan’s match will be:  “part of a double main event that truly encapsulates what Ring of Honor has represented for two decades.” If you want to know more details about this story here is it below:

The double main event has a lot of intense matches coming up. One of the most important part is the Briscoes challenging ROH World Tag Team Champions the OGK (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Tony Khan reveals that this will help out ROH especially with the pay per view that happens this week. It is not surprising that even ROH has thanked AEW in their press release that mentions:

“ROH would like to publicly thank AEW for allowing Lethal to wrestle at Final Battle: End of an Era.”

If we talk about Jay, his final match for ROH TV happens in late November. However during this match he also lost of EC3. He also got the chance to sign up with AEW in November and made a debut at the Full gear. It helped him make his in-ring debut after a few nights. During this time he had to face a loss to TNT Champion Sammy Guevara. The AEW Dynamite edition happened on November 17th. Since then he got defeated by the Trenton Storm on ‘Dark Elevation’. Apart from that he has also worked for the Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale.

Jay got the chance to speak about the Saturday’s match with Jonathan. There was a press release given by ROH and this is what it states:

“This match is about more than winning or losing, more than who’s the best or what championship we hold. “This match is about showing the world what this era of Ring of Honor is and I can’t wait to get back into the ring with one of the best wrestlers I know tomorrow night, Jonathan Gresham.”

Jay was signed with the ROH Franchise from the year 2003 to 2006. He made a return in 2011 and kept working there till signing up with AEW. You will not be surprised to know that he is the two time ROH world television champion and a one-time ROH Pure Champion. If this isn’t enough he is also a two-time ROH World Television Champion, a one-time ROH World Tag Team Champion and the third ROH Triple Crown Champion.

ROH “Final Battle: End of an Era” will take place at December 11. This event will take place at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD. You can catch up with this event and enjoy to the fullest!
