According to many journalists, such unfortunate incidents don’t happen frequently. There are many people who visit Mexico and return safe and sound, especially the American travelers are in huge numbers. If we talk about the travel agents, they too will tell you that there are no safety issues if you plan to visit Mexico.

Frankly speaking, such incidents can happen in any country at any time but it’s the duty of every country to keep their security levels high for travelers. While the Mexico journalists keep advising that it is a safe country for visit but the USA doesn’t think so. According to their reports, 67 US citizens were murdered in their country in 2018. It’s true that you have to take your own precautionary measures too and don’t depend solely on the security. It is advised that travelers should not wear anything expensive while moving out in Mexico and look for the spots which are safe.

Some parts of Jamaica are always under a state of emergency due to increasing violent crimes. Firstly the safety for the country people should be provided only then the travelers can feel safe. Despite all such crime rumors many people still visit Jamaica as it’s a beautiful place. One of the most frequent crimes in Jamaica is theft. So it’s always a good idea to keep you safe. Moving out with heavy cash or expensive accessories can cause you trouble. There have been other reports about violent crimes against female travelers and some people have even lost their lives.

Drug crime is very common in Jamaica and some gangs take advantage of innocent travelers. If you plan to travel then make sure not to leave your bags or belongings anywhere unsafe. Gang violence cases are pretty common in the inner city which is also a great concern for travelers and locals alike. Jamaican police have taken a few steps for security for people as they patrol at various hours with their cars or bicycles. But this still remains insufficient. Some of the police are even involved in crimes themselves so they hardly take care of anything happening around. Another threat in Jamaica is the hurricane season, be aware of going there at such timings. Some places might be a good tourist spot here, but most of the places are not safe and don’t even think about hanging out late at night.
