He attended Maine Township High School East and later went to Ripon College. It is reported that during his schooling years, Harry got a grade C average. He did not participate in extracurricular activities and was never keen on playing sports and other club activities.

Harrison Ford quit college and gave acting a shot. He landed on a contractual agreement with Columbia and then Universal. He featured in several films under these labels.
