Former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe died, famous as the father of Zimbabwe

Former Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe has passed away. He was 95 years old. The current President of the country, Emmerson Mnangagwa, announced this.

According to the news agency Effe, Emerson wrote in a Twitter post, “I am very sad to announce that Zimbabwe’s founder father and former President Robert Mugabe has passed away.”

He added, “Mugabe was the ideal of freedom, he devoted his life to the freedom and empowerment of his people. His contribution to the history of our nation and continent can never be forgotten. May his soul rest in peace.” “

The family of the former president confirmed to the BBC that Mugabe died on Friday morning in a hospital in Singapore, where he was admitted due to a prolonged illness.

Mugabe was born on 21 February 1924 in the then Rhodesia.
