First 2020 Chevrolet stingray auctioned for $3 million

Today we have got the most interesting news for you all as 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has been auctioned for $3 million in an auction recently held at Arizona. Most of the big auctions are held to help charity organizations where many needy children are residing. This auction too was held to help children in Detroit. The car has been a top seller in the first week of New Year itself that’s why the auction at Arizona turned out to be so successful. As the auction was able to collect $3 million all the money will go to Detroit and will be used to build as many schools as they can for the children in need.

Auction shot up to $1 million in less than a minute

You won’t be able to believe that when the auction was held it gained a lot of popularity among people and the bidding money shot up to $1million in less than a minute itself. The bidding session was intense and every minute was very thrilling. The money continued to rise and finally ended at $3 million which is a huge sum. A person named Rick Hendrick, who is the owner of NASCAR team Hendricks Motorsport turned out to be the ultimate winner. He has been an avid collector of the cars.

The money is going to be used for the betterment of educational purposes and Tonya Allen who is the founder of the charity organization of Detroit children’s fund stated the same in a recent interview. One of the most expensive cars has been sold out this week at the Arizona bidding sessions. The interesting part is that another 2021 Lexus LC 500 Convertible Inspiration Series VIN 100001 was also sold of $2 million on Friday and the money was sent to two charity organizations named Boys & Girls Clubs of America and Bob Woodruff Foundation.

There are many other cars which have been sold out at the bidding sessions and money has been successfully sent to the organizations in need of money. The total money collected for charity has already touched $7.6 million which is a great thing. The CEO of Barrett-Jackson is Craig Jackson and he has been highly touched with this auction being a great success. Jackson told the reporters on this special occasion that both his parents have been working for General Motors and he thanks them for their support at every step. He further stated that education is very important for kids who are going to work for the benefit of the country in future. He wants to support education as much as he can. He visions the country which is successful in every possible field.

First retail production of Stingray

The Chevrolet Stingray is one of the biggest and most modern cars which is introduced in 2020. It has got 8-cylinder and 6.2-liter LT2 V8 engine and has got a speed clutch of 8 which is working by an automatic transmission. The car is a beauty and consists of many wonderful seats which are black with red trim. The roof panel is removable and you can open it during your fun ride.

There is a rear spoiler and a fantastic data recorder and there are many other important features as well. As told by the CEO of General Motors this car is taking Chevrolet to another level. He said that a lot of charity money has been collected till now.
