In the fight against extremism, argues Ex-CDU General Secretary Peter Tauber to deprive the Constitution, to the enemies of certain fundamental rights, such as freedom of expression and freedom of Assembly. Only the criminal law to apply, not enough wrote Tauber in a guest post for the “world” with views of the alleged right-wing murder of the Kassel government President Walter Lübcke. On Twitter, the post triggered a controversial debate.

Peter Tauber looks complicity of AfD and CDU members in the case of Lübcke

“The mothers and fathers of the basic law have provided us with a sharp sword for the protection of the Constitution in the Hand. It is time to make use of it,” wrote Tauber. He referred to article 18 of the basic law, which had never been applied.

Literally it says: “Who has the right to freedom of expression, in particular freedom of the press (article 5, Para. 1), the freedom of Teaching (article 5, Para. 3), the freedom of Assembly (article 8), freedom of Association (article 9), privacy of correspondence, Postal and telecommunications secrecy (article 10), property (article 14), or the right of asylum (article 16a) to fight against the free democratic basic order abused, it shall forfeit these basic rights. The forfeiture and its extent are pronounced by the Federal constitutional court.”

“The political rights you can’t integrate, or embed,” wrote Tauber, who is now Parliamentary under-Secretary of state in the Ministry of defence. The violence of the right to take, the political climate had changed.

Indirectly responsible Tauber made the politician Erika Steinbach (former CDU member), Björn Höcke (AfD), Max Otte (CDU) and Alice ryegrass (AfD).

“Erika Steinbach, once a lady with education and style, demonstrate this self-radicalization of every day on Twitter,” says Tauber in the guest post about his former party colleague. “She is just like the Höckes, Ottes and Weidels by a language, the uninhibited, and violence, complicit in the death of Walter Lübckes.”

Many readers have made their displeasure at Twitter air. “#Tauber can be Chairman of the Antifa!”, a user wrote. “It’s amazing what a totalitarian direction #Germany (re -) developed,” commented another.

AfD-Chef Meuthen: the charges “repugnant and vile”

“The CDU-politician Peter Tauber is trying to make political capital out of the murder of Walter Lübcke, by declaring AfD politicians complicit in it,” said AfD chief Jörg Meuthen of the dpa on Wednesday. “This is just as repulsive and vile as wrong.” He called Tauber’s resignation as Parliamentary Secretary in the Ministry of defence.

Also, AfD group’s boss, Alice ryegrass showed indignation. “Is disinhibited, obviously, Mr Tauber, who uses a murder plot to discredit the political competitor in the deepest way.”
