Drip World Festival officially postponed, rescheduled for January 2020

Drip world is moving from winter to summer!

It was a roller coaster ride for the ticket holders of the Drip World festival in the past few days. Once the word of postponement was filtered through the media, the organizers portrayed it as misleading. However, in the official post of events Facebook, the administrators confirmed that the drip world would be postponed until January 2020.

In a lengthy post, administrators equate the blame of postponement at the artist visa applications. The post explains that visa applications for some of the artists set up for the show have not been up to this morning and since the Showtime is less than a week, it has decided to pull the plug on the early festive dates.

“We can’t risk to deliver the artistes we promised, so the Bindu team decided to make the festival move from winter to summer,” the statement stated.

The organizers gave some understanding of what was going on next. Among the eight international artists who have been confirmed in the past, they will try to secure as many people as possible for new dates. The statement explains, “our eight (8) large international artists need to reschedule the Ninety-seven (97) personnel, staff, dancers, DJs, security, and personnel.”

Therefore, administrators will now try to collaborate with new scheduled artists or with “like for like” or “better” options.

While the festival will now be held in the summer, the announcement seeks to keep better dates than the earlier years. According to the comment section, it is very comforting for those who have already bought clothing suitable for winter festivals, needless to say, accommodation in August/September.

It is suggested that ticket holders can allow their tickets into newly scheduled dates, while the refund selection will come on September 2, Monday.

It is disappointing to know the fate of the event from the followers who have repeatedly been questioning on some social media for this festival. Of course, many such comments have been removed as a result of further scrutiny from society.

The news that has been postponed since the sending of an email stating that the program has been ‘discontinued’ for contractors is somewhat kept secret and can, therefore, inform them at the last minute that their services are not required.

“You are a significant person for us. We apologize for the inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please tap us directly on Facebook, Instagram, or email. We have real people in the office who answer your questions.”

The new dates were announced from January 4, Saturday to January 12, 2020. No specific dates or venues are allocated to any city, but the Phono festival has those exact dates, and some of the false festive periods are overlapping, with the drip world 2020 facing some stiff competition.
