democratic U.S. congressmen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (29) has fought back against criticism of a dance video that she had recorded eight years ago as a student – with a new dance video. “I have heard, the Republicans believe that it is scandalous when women are dancing,” she wrote. “What if you know that the Congressman dancing?”

Ocasio-Cortez had participated in 2011 in a campaign at your University, in Boston, as a student had the idea to play in front of a video camera dance scenes from movies of the 1980s. The Video appeared on the day before your swearing-in as Deputy again on Social Media, critics of the young parliamentarian, found this inappropriate.

Ocasio-Cortez is no longer published, a short sequence on Twitter, it shows for a few seconds, once again dancing, this time in a T-Shirt and mini skirt on the flat roof of a building, but in a pants suit in front of the door of their new offices on Capitol Hill.

Because of their youth Ocasio-Cortez was both positively and negatively in the headlines. She is at the age of 29 the youngest member of Parliament, the Congress was ever in the US.
