Bollywood star who is best known to have plead an important role alongside Priyanka Chopra in the movie Salaam-e-Ishq has been found dead in his apartment on 27th December 2019. The actor has also played notable characters in movies like Farhan Akhtar’s Lakshaya and Karan Color TV show Ishq main Mar Javaan.
How did Kushal Punjabi die?
Kushal Punjabi was found dead at his apartment in Bandra Mumbai and was discovered by his friends. He was reported to have hanged himself and he took his own life by committing suicide. His parents had trouble contacting him that made them worried and they called out his friends to find out about his whereabouts. When his friends reached his apartment he was found dead. According to the police officials the cause of death was stated to be hanging. The actor was 42 years old when he died. He also left a suicide note stating that no one should be held responsible for his death. He left his property distributed among his sister, son and parents.
Kushal was found dead on Friday at 2am on 27th December. End of the year is supposed to be a joyous time for everyone as the year is ending and we are hoping for the New Year to arrive. But the year-end turned out to be a mourning time for many fellow actors and friends of Kushal who did not expect him to die at such an early age. Kushal was a kind hearted and a great human being and was close to many Bollywood and Television stars. Popular TV stars left heartfelt condolence messages in the memory of Kushal.
Popular Tv actor Karanvir Bohra stated on his Instagram account
“Ur demise has shocked the hell out of me. I’m still in denial @itsme_kushalpunjabi,” actor Karanvir Bohra wrote.”I know you are in a happier place, but this is unfathomable. The way you lead your life really inspired me in more ways than one…but what was I to know.
“Your zest for dancing, fitness, off-road biking, fatherhood and above all that, that smiling face of yours, your happy-go-lucky nature your warmth all that was so genuine. I’m gonna miss you so much #kushlani. You will always be rememberd [sic] as a guy who lived a full life.
Actor Karan Patel known has his Punjabi brother also left a heartfelt message for him. It was as follows.

Reason behind Kushal’s death
Kushal was reportedly suffering from clinical depression. He had a failed marriage and he was living alone in an apartment with his son. His wife was in China when he died and she was expected to arrive at his funeral. He was also facing financial struggles which were making him suffer in life. Many people around the world are suffering from anxiety and depression and they really need care and support before they take a terrible step like suicide. Life is precious and we need to live it to our fullest.
