Australian captain criticised for final moments to lose review

Australian captain Tim Paine has been criticized for missing reviews in the final moments of the Headingley Test.

Tim Pan took a review for LBW against Jack Leach while the ball was clearly going out of the league stump. In the next over, West Indian umpire Joel Wilson rejected LBW’s appeal against Stokes over Nathan Lyon’s ball. In the replay, they were clearly visible but Australia did not have a review.

Former captain Ian Chappell, Mark Taylor, and Ein Haley have criticized Penn for being nervous at moments.
The Australian captain hinted to assign the review to someone else

Australian captain Tim Paine has given the task of handing over the review to England after the defeat to England in the Headingley Test. Has decided.

“I saw in the replay that it was really Ben Stokes-out, I don’t want to see that scene again,” said Penn, refusing to say anything about wrong-handed umpire Joel Wilson.
