Apple is struggling with inventory issues “Almost no spare iPhones anymore”

Apple Stores is said to be in danger of a shortage of replacement iPhones because the supply of the phone is under pressure due to the new coronavirus. The tech giant has informed his stores that there are almost no iPhones available for the replacement of badly damaged devices.

This is reported by the Bloomberg news agency based on conversations with US store staff. When a user takes a damaged iPhone to an Apple store, the company can replace individual items such as the screen or the camera. If the device is irreparable, the company often offers a replacement phone instead of a brand new model.

Apple itself was not available for comment on the message. It is not known whether Apple has to deal with pressure on the stock anywhere in the world.

The American concern is busy re-opening its Chinese stores at a rapid pace. Previously, all 42 were closed due to the virus outbreak. Almost all of them were operational again on Wednesday.
