Today it has been 18 years since 9/11 attack. This terrorist attack inflicted such a wound on the chest of America, the world’s most powerful country, whose pain will always be there. On September 11, 2001, on September 11, the terrorists targeted the world-famous World Trade Center and Pentagon of America, using passenger planes as missiles. It is seen as the most significant terrorist attack in US history. About 3000 people died in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. Three hundred forty-three fire departments and 60 police officers were also among those who died. At the same time, 184 people were killed in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon.
The then US President George Bush called the incident the darkest day in American history. No one had forgotten that morning of September 11, 2001, when, as usual, about 18,000 employees were engaged in daily work at the World Trend Center, one of the world’s tallest buildings. But something happened at 8:46 am that the general feeling so far this morning became frightening.
On that day 19 terrorists hijacked four planes and then hit two jets from the World Trend Center. The first aircraft crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center. At first, people thought it was an accident, but shortly after 09:03; another plane crashed into the southern tower. The process of attack did not stop here. After the terrorist attack on both towers, the news of the attack on the Pentagon, the headquarters of the Defense Department of Washington, came at 9:47 minutes.
Today, 18 years of 9/11 attacks have been completed, see the entire situation of that day in pictures and videos.
Today in 2001, three thousand innocent people were murdered in cold blood by al-Qaeda in horrendous attacks that came to be known as 9/11.
