Alex Kron won the Funkisfestivalen 2020 Halmstad

Alex Kron won the Funkis Festival on February 7 in Halmstad Arena with the song “Always on my mind”. He will now represent Halmstad in the semi-finals at Nalen in Stockholm in April.

A record number of 1,900 people were present and had a fun cultural experience that included singing, dancing, music and advertising theater. Ten entries participated and the audience, together with the jury, voted for the winner.

Audience record by audience record – now the Funkis Festival in Halmstad has done it again. Over 1900 people came when the festive music event kicked off during Friday night at Halmstad Arena. Of ten contributions, it was Alex Kron who took home the victory with the song “Always on my mind”, by Elvis Presley.
