The Czech Minister of culture, Antonin Stanek sold on Thursday, surprisingly, two of the most prominent Museum Directors in the country. The Director of the national gallery in Prague, Jiri Fajt, and the head of the Museum of art in Olomouc (Czech Olomouc), Michal Soukup, had lost all of his confidence, the Minister said to the news Agency CTK. Financial control in both houses would have caused doubts as to the ability of the two Directors to run the national gallery and the Museum economically.
