A California couple, his children in the terrible conditions has been held captive, has been sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison.

The 50-year-old Louise Turpin and her 57 year old husband David were spoken due to torture, severe mistreatment and neglect of 12 of their 13 children, guilty as the “Los Angeles Times” and other US media reported. The sentence was 25 years to life, that is, both must serve 25 years before they can hope for a pardon. The couple had announced in February at the trial in Riverside, guilty.

The incidents was succeeded in the house of the family in the city of Perris, Southeast of Los Angeles had come to light, as a 17-year-old daughter escape. The girl alerted via a cell phone the police. Their escape she had planned, according to the investigators, for two years. As officers of the house visited, were three of the children chained up.
