More than 76,000 migrants are traveling in February without the necessary papers across the border to Mexico in the USA. More than twice as many as in the same month of the previous year, as statistics from the U.S. customs and border protection.

“We are facing a humanitarian crisis and a national security crisis along our southwest border,” said authorities chief Kevin McAleenan said in a statement.
